Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our fast-growing team. In this role, you will manage the full recruitment process, sourcing and hiring top talent across various roles within the organization. You will collaborate with managers and HR Business Partners to ensure a seamless recruitment process and drive the company's branding initiatives to strengthen our presence in the logistics and warehousing industry.
The Role:
* Manage the recruitment process for all roles within the company.
* Conduct regular meetings with managers from each department and HR Business Partners to understand staffing needs and priorities.
* Develop clear job descriptions and interview questions tailored to the requirements of each position.
* Define selection criteria aligned with the company’s culture and strategic goals.
* Ensure recruitment processes are efficient, equitable, and compliant with policies.
* Track recruitment progress and communicate updates to managers.
* Monitor and record recruitment costs to support budget planning.
* Produce monthly reports showcasing recruitment metrics and KPI achievements.
* Oversee and conduct the end-to-end recruitment process, including:
1. Sourcing and headhunting candidates through online platforms and networks.
2. Conducting initial screenings and shortlisting suitable candidates.
3. Planning and coordinating interviews and assessments.
4. Utilising and managing talent pools to track applicants' processes.
5. Preparing employment offers.
6. Supporting background checks when necessary.
Lead employer branding efforts, including:
* Organizing and attending job fairs and recruitment events.
* Strengthening the company’s reputation in the logistics and warehousing sector.
* Driving talent initiatives such as the referral bonus program.
The ideal Candidate:
* Must have previous experience in talent acquisition or recruitment for at least 1 year, preferably within logistics, warehousing, or a related industry.
* The candidate needs to be in the UK currently and have a valid visa for at least 3 months.
* Must be fluent in communicating both verbally and in writing in English and Mandarin, as this job requires communication with the HQ in China.
* Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong sourcing and headhunting abilities with knowledge of diverse recruitment channels.
* CIPD qualification or studying in HR-related or business management university degree (preferred but not essential).
* Experience in employer branding and participating in recruitment events is a plus.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 176 hours per month (flexibility is required)
Location: Lichfield (needs to be on-site working)
Salary: £26k-33k per year

We have sites in Walsall, Lichfield, Cannock, Worcester, Wolverhampton and Stone.
