Rage Ltd is recruiting an Operations Manager to support the repairs & maintenance branch of our operations throughout the Southeast of England. The successful individual will have extensive experience in the trades or general building coupled with the required level of management/supervision knowledge to directly support our Operations Director. The candidate will be expected to spend significant time visiting various sites as well as meetings with clients, customers and supporting the wider Rage team on delivering high standard projects. You will need to be extremely motivated, self-disciplined and hold the highest integrity to be successful in this role, with significant levels of responsibility being placed with you from the start point.
Ideally, you will have experience in working within the social housing sector with knowledge of NHF 7.2 schedule of rates, a good understanding of the current issues faced by this sector, and innovative ideas on how improvements can be made to our current policy and procedures. You would benefit from a background in health and safety, but this is not essential, however, you would be expected to undertake relevant courses to ensure we are giving our clients the best possible outcomes. You must have a good grasp of Microsoft Office applications, in particular excel, word and PowerPoint with an acceptable standard in literacy and numeracy.
The successful applicant will need to hold a UK full drivers’ licence with no more than 3 penalty points and be comfortable covering extended distance throughout the Southeast. There may be occasions when working away is required, however, all measures will be taken to make this as comfortable as possible and will not be a regular occurrence.

The position attracts a salary of £45K per annum.
You will start on 28 days annual leave (inc Bank/public holidays).
