Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: M30 Salford, Greater Manchester
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday (30-minute lunch break)
Salary: 13.69 - 15.83 per hour (PAYE or Umbrella)
Reeson Education is looking for a confident and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist primary SEN school in Salford (M30). This is a full-time, long-term role supporting pupils across all primary age groups with social, emotional, and behavioural needs. Team Teach training is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities for the SEN Teaching Assistant:
* Support pupils with SEMH needs as a teaching assistant across all primary year groups.
* Assist with classroom learning, behaviour support, and emotional regulation.
* Work 1:1 and in small groups as a teaching assistant to build confidence and engagement.
* Use Team Teach strategies to manage challenging behaviours effectively.
* Create a nurturing, structured, and engaging learning environment.
* Work closely with teachers, therapists, and SENCOs to implement tailored support plans.
Requirements for the SEN Teaching Assistant:
* Previous experience supporting children with SEN/SEMH needs in a school or alternative setting.
* Team Teach training (Essential).
* A resilient, patient, and adaptable approach to working with children with complex needs.
* Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
* Commitment to a full-time, long-term role in a specialist SEN setting.
