Do you enjoy working with children and creating a fun, safe, and welcoming environment? St Austin’s Catholic Primary School is looking for an Extended Schools Teaching Assistant to support our after-school programme and help make each day special for our pupils.
About the Role:
You will help deliver a range of activities, support children’s needs, and ensure they have an enjoyable experience outside of classroom hours. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a vibrant school setting and contribute to the growth and development of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with the supervision of pupils during after-school activities.
• Help set up and lead engaging activities, such as arts, crafts, games, and group play.
• Provide care and support to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage teamwork and inclusion.
• Support the tidying and organisation of activity spaces.
About You:
We are looking for someone who:
• Enjoys working with children and has a friendly, caring attitude.
• Has excellent communication skills and works well as part of a team.
• Is organised, proactive, and flexible.
• Has experience working with primary-aged children (desirable but not essential).
