Our food stores and their teams are at the heart of many local communities, and our central services play a pivotal role in supporting our teams across our trading area. Specifically, our Food Support team offer support, guidance and advice on a daily basis to ensure our food operation continues to run smoothly for our customers and members. An opportunity has now arisen for a Food Support Analyst to join our team. You will support the daily operations for our Category Team. This will include providing a full and complete service in terms of category administration within the society ranges and play a crucial role in supporting our food stores in meeting Trading Standard requirements. As a Food Support Analyst, you will be working in a highly motivated and detail orientated team. Your day to day role will include: Preparing forecasts and provisional orders for all promotion, seasonal and event periods Supporting our Food Stores with the product catalogue Collect and report data to ensure appropriate stock is ordered Actively advise the team on category performance About You In this role, you will be able to build positive relationships with internal and external customers at all levels. You will have strong attention to detail and be pro-active, demonstrating an ability to investigate problems and suggest solutions. You will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and demonstrate excellent literacy, numeracy, and communication skills. Previous knowledge of retail administration and supply chains would be advantageous.
