Computer Science Teacher - Manchester - January start
We are specifically working with a secondary school in Manchester, who are working exclusively with ourselves, to join them teaching Computer Science key stage 3 & 4 from after Christmas, on an ongoing basis, likely to be for the remainder of the current academic year on a full-time basis.
You will be required to become fully immersed in the department, attend departmental meetings and be available for parents evenings as and when required. You will deliver lessons that are both engaging and academically appropriate to stretch the students in the classes, with a focus on AfL and progressing students in an engaging and enjoyable way.

Minimum rate of pay: GBP162.31 per day
Hours: 8:30 am - 4 pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
1. Degree educated with a good classification (2:2).
2. PGCE and QTS.
3. Previous experience working with young people (which we can reference).
4. Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided).
5. Up to date prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided).
6. Up to date behaviour management & FGM training in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided).
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
1. Hold Right to Work in the UK.
2. Hold an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to process a new application.
3. Provide two professional children related references.
