Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Reception Manager or Head Host to develop their career within an established brand under forward-thinking and supportive management.

The role will involve:
Team Management
* Support the GM/AGM/Restaurant Managers in completing all host training in accordance with the company's ethos and values
* Manage and guide the team of hosts in a hands-on, positive way
Team Development
* Participate in the daily, weekly and monthly training sessions for front of house
* Communicate team notes to Management to help support team reviews
* Ensure that there is a healthy working environment between all areas by communicating openly
Finance
* Develop an understanding of how to maximise revenue and covers at all times while maintaining service standards
* Liaise with Management to monitor covers and team levels and amend when necessary
* Attend weekly Restaurant Manager Meetings
Front of house
* Manage and co-ordinate all reservations to maximise bookings
* Co-ordinate table reservations and walk-ins to ensure a smooth allocation to each section, ensure turn times are adhered to and large parties and special bookings are prepared and communicated to the team
* Communicate guest profiling information to front of house team in order to build loyalty and create exceptional service and hospitality experiences
* Initiate and develop on-going relationships with guests allowing Tart to create a strong guest database
* Handle guest complaints in accordance with Wild By Tart processes and procedures
* To be aware of all other developments within the restaurant industry
* Attend and contribute to Food and Beverage Training Sessions
* Attend and contribute to the Daily Service Briefings
* Host informative reservation shift briefings
Daily and Weekly Procedures
* Communicate Total Cover Count for week ahead to managers and kitchen
* Send weekly Seven Rooms guest feedback reports
* Prepare reception, entrance and W/C pre and post service
* Manage all telephone and email reservations
* Complete table plan and monitor throughout service
* Welcome and seat guests in a warm, friendly and timely manner
* Organise and estimate wait times for guests
* Co-ordinate bar and restaurant pre and post meal drinks
* Turn tables with efficiency liaising with floor team and managers
* Check Reservations for confirmed, unconfirmed bookings and instruct the team of hosts accordingly
* Update guest database and guest profiles
Health and Safety
* Maintain knowledge of Health and Safety and Food Hygiene legislation
* Understand all fire, first aid and accident procedures
* Provide a safe and secure environment for guests and team at all times
* All equipment and facilities are operated and maintained in line with the trained instructions
* Maintain clean and tidy-working areas at all times

* Minimum 2 years Reception Manager or Head Host experience with extensive knowledge of the hospitality industry and restaurant operational systems
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to write personable and professional emails
* Fluency in English, written and spoken
