Are you a passionate and dedicated individual with a Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification, looking to make a positive impact in the field of education? We are currently seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team in Bacup, working across all primary year groups.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Classroom Support: Provide invaluable assistance to teachers in delivering high-quality education by offering support to individual students or small groups.
2. Curriculum Knowledge: Demonstrate a solid understanding of the national curriculum, assisting in the planning and execution of lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
3. Individualised Support: Work closely with students, identifying and addressing individual learning needs to ensure each child reaches their full potential.
4. Resource Management: Effectively utilise educational resources to enhance the learning experience and create a stimulating classroom environment.
5. Collaborative Approach: Collaborate with teachers and other teaching assistants to foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
Requirements:
1. Qualification: Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification is essential. Level 3 qualification is highly desirable.
2. Experience: Proven experience working in a classroom setting with a diverse range of students.
3. Curriculum Familiarity: In-depth knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum for primary education.
4. Flexibility: Ability to work across all primary year groups, adapting teaching approaches to meet the needs of different age groups.
5. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
