Pay: £13.73 – £14.28/ hour (depending on qualifications)
Peterhouse is a non-maintained Specialist School for pupils with Autism aged 5-19 in Southport.
We are looking for enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistants with a passion for supporting exceptional children and a creative approach to meeting needs and enhancing curriculum delivery. As a Supply Teaching Assistant you will support children across school on an individual basis and in group situations to support their learning.
As part of your role you will also work collaboratively with the education team, as well as the community to create a welcoming environment where all children and parents feel valued and supported.
We want pupils to be excited about coming to school and love learning. We want them to be motivated and challenged as they thrive in a school that understands their individuality and celebrates their unique qualities and strengths. Most of all, we are committed to providing every learner with the tools and strategies to become a successful autistic adult.
Supply TAs work variable hours to cover for staff absences and provide additional support where it is most needed, across all classes and age groups. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a specialist education setting, and grow your skills!
