Location: Lakeview Care Home - Lightwater
Type: Temporary - Full Time - 12 Month Contract
Salary: £16.58 per hour

About the Role
As a Lead Senior Care Assistant, you will take on a pivotal leadership role within our care home, guiding a team to deliver outstanding care and support. This role is ideal for someone with the experience, confidence, and passion to lead by example while ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership: Inspire, support, and motivate a team of care assistants to deliver person-centred care. Act as a mentor, providing guidance and training to team members to ensure professional growth and development.
* Resident Care: Monitor and respond to residents’ physical and emotional needs, adapting care plans as required. Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families.
* Medication Administration: Manage and administer medication safely and responsibly, maintaining accurate records.
* Care Quality and Compliance: Conduct regular checks to ensure care plans, records, and documentation are compliant with care home policies.
* Operational Support: Assist in rota management and staff allocation to ensure smooth daily operations.
What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills and Experience:
* Previous experience in a senior care role within a care home or similar environment.
* Strong knowledge of personal care, medication administration, and care planning.
* Proven leadership abilities, with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Exceptional organisational skills.
* Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
* Experience in working with dementia care or other specialised care settings.
