Come and join our team We are looking for a skilled Business and Systems Analyst (IT) to join our team on a 12 month fixed-term basis to support the delivery of critical IT projects within our Customer and Member area.This role offers an opportunity to work on transformational workstreams, including the development of a new East of England Co-op website, transitioning Member Share Accounts to Oracle NetSuite, and supporting the rebuild of MS Dynamics CRM. What you’ll be doing As a Business and Systems Analyst, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the success of our IT projects by bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Your core responsibilities will include: Define, document, and maintain technical and user requirements for system and process implementation. Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, validate, and refine requirements, ensuring solutions are aligned with business needs and objectives. Analyse and map process and interfaces, replacing and migrating data from legacy systems. Produce clear, concise, and accurate documentation for requirements, processes, and testing. Present complex subjects in a simplified manner to stakeholders with varying technical knowledge. Conduct data analysis using MS Excel, MS Access, or SQL, including data transformation, data migration and comparisons. Support testing and quality assurance processes to ensure systems meet acceptable levels of quality. The person we are looking for The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience in IT Business and Systems Analysis and possess relevant qualifications, such as BCS Certifications in Business Analysis or Requirements Engineering. Additionally, you will bring: Proven ability to analyse and understand complex technical processes. Strong data analysis skills, with experience using tools like MS Excel, MS Access, or SQL. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical subjects clearly. A proactive approach to managing time and multiple workstreams simultaneously. Experience in implementing financial systems (desirable).
