Job Title: Projects Manager
We are one of Europe’s leading designers and manufacturers within the engineering sector, employing over 200 staff across the UK and overseas. Our manufacturing facilities span over five units at our head office in Frimley.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Projects Manager to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role involves overseeing people, procedures, and processes within the department, driving the team to meet and exceed business targets. The ideal candidate will confidently lead a shift of around 8 individuals, including Engineers and Administrators.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 17:00, with early finish at 14:30 on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all Housing Sales order projects from handover to completion, ensuring timely delivery, specifications compliance, and budget adherence.
* Classify new projects internally and ensure procedural adherence throughout the project lifecycle.
* Manage project schedules, progress reports, customer communications, escalations, and change management.
* Coordinate production scheduling and assign delivery dates, collaborating with the Production Manager.
* Lead and manage internal Project Engineers and Project Support Admin, including daily tasks and prioritization.
* Facilitate collaboration with internal resources, including Production, alongside relevant team leaders or managers.
* Work with Sales and Proposals teams on new projects for accurate handovers.
* Set and achieve stock targets for housings, sub-assemblies, and components.
* Manage new product development, prototypes, and launches.
* Oversee ERP system change control, including BOMs and Routes updates.
* Conduct project debriefs to capture lessons learned and improve processes.
* Champion continuous improvement initiatives.
* Establish and meet team KPIs.
* Lead by example, demonstrating company values and effective communication.
* Manage recruitment, induction, and performance management processes.
* Set SMART objectives, track performance, and identify training opportunities.
* Handle absence management in line with company policies.
Qualifications: Degree in engineering discipline and a Project Management qualification with proven project management experience.
