This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing essential pharmaceutical services within a prison setting. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications to inmates, contributing to their overall health and well-being. What will your responsibilities be : As a Locum Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for a range of duties including, but not limited to, dispensing medications, managing pharmaceutical stock, and maintaining accurate records. You will collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care. Additionally, you will provide advice and support to inmates regarding their medications, ensuring compliance with prescribed treatments. Your role will also involve conducting medication reviews and participating in health promotion activities within the prison. Qualifications and Experiences: NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC) Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably within a prison or similar environment Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Flexibility and adaptability to meet the demands of the role Why work with Pulse?
