Receptionist Administrative Assistant
Our client, an independent Optometrists is currently looking for an enthusiastic and committed Reception Administrative Assistant.
They operate two practices and this position is an opportunity to work in their thriving Cambridge branch where there will be plenty of opportunities for progression.
Hours required:
Monday -Thursday 8:45am -5:15pm
Friday 7:45am to 4pm
(Our summer hours Mon-Fri 8am-4pm).
There will also be a requirement for occasional weekend availability for holiday cover.
Full time working hours is preferred, however, part time candidates may be considered but working days must include Monday to Wednesday.
This role heavily involves maintaining a strong emphasis on the patients journey and level of service provided to them. They will require you to have strong interpersonal and communication skills whilst having the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast paced working environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Welcoming patients to the practice and ensuring at all times their expectations are met.
* Managing busy diaries using our computer system.
* Booking appointments.
* Administrative Duties.
* Answering the telephone.
* Maintaining and updating patient records.
* Contributing to the smooth running of all clinics.

Experience:
* Receptionist: 1 year (Preferred)
* Administrator: 1 year (Preferred)
Salary:
£22,500 /year
