This role is a crucial role within a large Global FMCG supporting the business. The role is UK focused supporting one key area of the business.
This is a true business partnering role, where resposibility for the employee lifecycle and stakeholder manegement are going to be crucial.
More about the role:
* Partnering with your designated business area to achieve desirable outcomes together. You will be the sparring partner for your specified business area in order to drive high performance teams throughout your business area. You will also be responsible for co-creating an inspiring and innovative people plan in conjunction with the business area management team.
* Understanding the business area function wider than the people topics in order to challenge and influence the direction with the aim of creating positive change and supporting the Business area function to exceed their business targets.
* Influence and manage key stakeholders to ensure employee and business needs are managed, providing key insights and analysis on people related measures to guide and develop key focus areas.
* Champion, coach and empower managers to lead their teams and take responsibility for all people related topics
* Manage any employment relation cases to provide a pragmatic solution for both the employee and the business ie performance management cases or organizational re-design. Whilst also staying up to date on employment legislation.
* Full responsibility for the requirements of the HR calendar, in relation to the business area, such as workforce planning and salary review.
* Coach managers on the Compensation philosophy and drive managerial empowerment through educated decisions and proactively provide information and insights on market data to support talent attraction and retention and identifies solutions to issues that may occur.
* Ensure a first class recruitment and selection process experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
* Partner with the hiring managers to ensure that accurate information is used for the recruitment process, thereby ensuring targeted and quality recruitment.
* Collaborate with line managers and the wider function to identify training needs to develop a business area specific training programme, in line with the Global programme, while positively influencing the talent management agenda aiming to retain and develop our employees.
* Ensuring managers and employees are educated on our development philosophy and strengths based development plans are utilised in order to lead our teams to mastery.
* Implement the local and global training initiatives and development tools
* Work in partnership with the Head of Business area to support in the management of our 3rd party field support team.
* In addition, develop a close relationship with the Acosta HR team to support on recruitment challenges, training programmes, quarterly people reviews, Talent pipelines, etc
* Lead on annual people calendar projects as required such as engagement, compensation review, workforce cost and headcount planning and other local and global initiatives. Ensuring you also support on these initiatives all year round, while driving managerial empowerment through educated decisions.
* Annually supports the salary and benefits review and administration process in conjunction with the HR Manager in accordance to Global guidelines
* Ensuring 100% data quality to ensure accurate insights and analysis to guide business decisions through our planning & analytics platform.
* Tracking and reviewing key KPI’s and conducting regular data quality checks.
* Deploying assigned Global Projects where required in line with our local and global people plans
More about you:
* Outstanding communicator, facilitator and presenter
* Previous Business Partner experience of a large business unit, preferably working closely with senior leaders
* Proven success in identifying focus areas and executing people strategies at a national level
* Knowledge in a wide variety of HR areas including an understanding of HR required employment law
* Ability to work under pressure, prioritise, multi-task and coordinate with multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
* Positive and proactive business partnering attitude with a growth mindset when dealing with day to day challenges, going above and beyond what is expected.
* Excellent collaboration with the ability to work together with diverse business functions and the wider people team to achieve excellence together
* Ability to influence key internal and external stakeholders to encourage positive change
* Excellent communication skills (written and oral), including presentation and training facilitation skills
* Advantageous to have experience using SAP, Business Intelligence reports and other planning & analytics platforms
