We are currently seeking a Pressure Control Maintenance Technician for our Well Services Team.
The Pressure Control Maintenance Technician is responsible for the overall running of the pressure testing bay for all UK business lines.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintaining Coiled Tubing/Wireline BOPs and Coiled Tubing/Wireline Stuffing Boxes.
2. Pressure testing pressure control equipment and treating hoses within Well Services.
3. Performing shear/slip testing in line with Archer CT procedures and/or customer requirements.
4. Ensuring adequate spares are in stock and readily available.
5. Assisting with planning and coordination of 5-year major certification updates on PCE.
6. Maintaining and updating necessary certification for pressure control across all UK business units.
7. Inputting and adhering to business units’ quality plans in line with relevant industry standards.
8. Leading safety culture with a focus on Archer’s five core values in line with other workshop personnel.
9. Following and updating maintenance procedures.
10. Ensuring that preventative maintenance is carried out at the correct intervals.
11. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and original build standards.
Supporting with any workshop tasks as requested during quieter periods.
