Frazer, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is on the hunt for an Operations Manager (Warehouse & Transport) who's as passionate about great service as we are.
Hours: 6:30 am – 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday
Location: Frazer, Church Trading Estate, Slade Green Road, Erith, DA8 2HX
Key Responsibilities:
* Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects
* Managing a team including 3 Warehouse Operatives and 3 Drivers
* Producing monthly reports
* Supporting the Branch Manager
* Ensure your team is set up for the day, including delivery drivers with route planning
* Help to process and prepare customer orders - load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a forklift truck to minimize manual handling (training will be provided!)
* Work as direct support to the management team and act as a keyholder when needed
* Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products
* Maintain stock levels in both the warehouse and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts
* Keep the branch looking clean and tidy and make Health & Safety a priority
* Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement

Required Skills and Experience:
* Previous industry experience preferred
* Warehouse and Transport Management essential
* A positive team player who is a strong and inclusive leader
* A genuine enthusiasm for dealing with customers, and a ‘customer 1st’ attitude
* Strong focus on H&S
* Commercial acumen
