About the Role
HSDC have an exciting opportunity for an experienced trainer to deliver various employability and vocational certificates to adult learners who are seeking employment. You will work closely with an experienced team of trainers and co-ordinators in our Outstanding department. We welcome applications from trainers from all vocational backgrounds but have a particular interest in those with a Business and Care background.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
* To carry an appropriate training and assessment workload as agreed with your line manager based on financial targets.
* Agree and review learning programmes with DWP and employers and Partnership Co-ordinators.
* To undertake all assessment, marking and grading of regulated courses both online and in the classroom.
* To design bespoke courses of non-regulated training to meet specific JCP demands for their customers.
* Develop high quality training resources and workbooks to enable learner achievement.
* Develop and deliver training/coaching sessions (small groups and one to one) as appropriate to their experience and adult needs (including personalisation of resources).
Requirements
You will need:
* Work-Based Trainers qualification (A1 or equivalent)
* IQA qualification or willing to work towards
* Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) or willing to work towards
* Experience of delivering accredited courses to groups of learners
* Strong IT Skills
* Strong understanding of awarding body requirements
