* Confirm we have adequate on-site safety. Work closely with the Safety Department to ensure all Client, OSHA, and corporate safety policies and procedures are followed.
* Ensure quality, and conformance to drawings, specifications, and local codes. The general superintendent to work with the site superintendent, and project management team to develop and implement the project(s) quality control program.
* Participate in post-bid review meetings and project kick-off meetings.
* Work closely with project management and other internal departments including safety, estimating, accounting, payroll, billings, and document control to further ensure project success at all stages including project closeout.
* Attend as many progress and coordination meetings with clients, subcontractors, the team, and other project stakeholders to help identify and troubleshoot long lead time items, input on design issues, address schedule concerns, and corrective action plans if warranted.
* Monitor daily superintendents' reports and progress photos are completed every week.
* Work closely with the project management team to ensure that changes to work scopes including cost and schedule impacts are communicated to and approved by the owner before implementing said changes.
* Work with and direct as required project superintendents, assistant superintendents, and administrative staff to ensure proper documentation of changes in the work or documents.
* Manage, supervise, and mentor others as needed to run multiple projects, phases, shifts, etc. while ensuring customer satisfaction at all levels.
* Participate in monthly progress/status update meetings, reporting to the company leadership on project status, schedule, and budget as well as potential exposure or opportunity.

* Degree in construction management, engineering, or related field or equivalent combinations of training and experience.
* 15 years of related work experience as a superintendent or project manager.
* Strong computer skills are a must; Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, Procore, and any other customer-required software
* Diversified experience on industrial, institutional, and commercial new build projects.
* Highly skilled in understanding construction specifications and drawings.
* Advanced understanding of all trade disciplines; civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and low voltage systems.
* Ability to understand all aspects of a large complex project.
* Ability to delegate and follow up for the completion of project work tasks by subordinates.
