Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Service Desk Engineer to join our team at Datcom. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to our clients, working closely with our project team to resolve complex technical issues.
The ideal candidate will have up-to-date Microsoft certifications and experience with Windows Desktop support, Server support, and maintenance. You will also be responsible for managing and prioritizing your workload, ensuring all technical work is carried out within SLA, and identifying repeat issues to proactively resolve them.
Key Responsibilities:
* Remote support to a designated set of clients, answering and dealing with support calls promptly, and triaging tickets to other team members where necessary.
* On-site support and installations, taking ownership of assigned tickets, and ensuring accurate asset record management.
* Identifying documentation requirements and creating knowledge base articles where necessary, and working to our values to ensure excellent customer experience.
* Rota based extended hours support (on call), and managing and prioritizing your workload to meet the needs of our clients.
Requirements:
* Up to date Microsoft certifications.
* Windows Desktop support, Server support, and maintenance.
* Active Directory administration, Group policy administration, and Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure support and maintenance.
* Microsoft Endpoint Manager, VMware vSphere, and Horizon.
* Network support on routers, switches, firewalls, and other networked devices, and software support for end-user applications.
* PowerShell.
