Support Worker/Supervised Contact Worker Freedom Care are a growing business that have been working with young people and families to improve outcomes for 25 years. We are currently recruiting Support Workers/Supervised Contact Workers to work with vulnerable families and children. The roles will be: Supervised Contact Worker Your role will be to supervise, record and assess child contact with parents or carers. The roles will be around the Winchester area. Full travel time and mileage is paid outside of 15 miles and 30 minutes each way. Job Description: To provide child focused supervision of children's contact with family and carers, working within the terms of court orders and referring agencies, conditions of contact and as far as possible, in partnership with parents/carers. To provide concise, relevant and accurate recording of contact sessions in line with agency guidelines. To participate in training as appropriate. Experience Applicants must have experience as a Supervised Contact Worker/Family worker or a similar role. Experience of primary school aged children is essential. Qualified to a minimum of L3 in Childcare or Health and Social Care or equivalent experience. You must be a car driver and have access to a car. Rate of Pay : £14 whilst training. To provide person centred support to children/youth's to create stability for the young person and develop their life skills and opportunities through a range of community and home-based activities. Experience Applicants must have experience as a Support worker or a similar role. Experience of young people is essential. Qualified to a minimum of L3 in Childcare or Health and Social Care or equivalent experience. You must be a car driver and have access to a car. You should have experience of working with young people who are Neurodiverse, display challenging behaviours and have mental health challenges. You should be able to “get alongside” the young person to role model and guide them. Rate of Pay : £14 whilst training. On completion of training £17.50 per hour. Working with young people with additional needs and challenging behaviour requires a very special set of personal traits. We can offer training but ultimately the essence of who a person is will be the key to identifying the correct candidate for this role.
