We're recruiting on behalf of a leading industrial service provider who is looking to expand their team with a dedicated professional to support and enhance reliability on a key client site.
Job Title: Reliability Lead
Location: Hull
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30-16:30 (1-hour lunch break)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking team focused on delivering high standards in equipment reliability and performance. Your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out Vibration Analysis routes and interpreting data
Completing root cause analysis following equipment failures
Identifying and implementing reliability improvements to reduce downtime and increase Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF)
Collaborating closely with on-site teams to implement effective, measurable reliability initiatives
Executing tasks efficiently, with minimal disruption to operations
Proactively suggesting improvements in manufacturing processes and equipment reliability
Supporting shutdown activities and day-to-day reliability operations
Maintaining excellent standards of safety and compliance at all times
Communicating effectively around change and supporting implementation
About You:
We're looking for a motivated and technically proficient individual with:
CAT 1 Vibration Analysis training
Proficiency in Condition-Based Monitoring (CBM) tools
Practical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (food industry preferred)
Understanding of relevant legislation and modern maintenance techniques
NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds Part 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
Broad knowledge of engineering fundamentals
Intermediate Food Hygiene & IOSH Managing Safely (desirable)
