The continued growth and success of our Company has created a vacancy for a Fire Door Inspector to join our expanding team.
As a Fire Door Inspector, you would be primarily responsible for the following:
1. Conducting fire door inspections to ensure they meet compliance on a range of property types covering a wide range of sectors including care homes, hospitals, schools, hotels etc.
2. Delivering accurate surveys, reports and recommendations to clients utilising app-based software programs.
3. Liaising with residents and clients whilst on-site.
4. Proactivity, staying abreast with current fire legislation, maintaining your CPD, attention to detail, and maintaining and consistently delivering a high standard of work are also crucial elements for this role.
5. Hours of work Mon to Fri: 08.00 – 16.00 however please note that out of hours work will be required also noting there will be travel throughout the UK with this role.
Essential
1. Organised and the ability to multitask.
2. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
3. A basic understanding of Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications.
4. Able to use own initiative.
Desirable
1. A full UK driving licence is essential and a requirement to travel throughout the UK.
2. Accredited Qualifications within the Fire Door Industry welcome such as, FDIS and BM Trada.
3. Knowledge and understanding of the principles of Fire Safety.
