As the HVAC Engineer / Heating / Ventilation / Air Conditioning Technician you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems across the site.
Working as the HVAC Engineer / Heating / Ventilation / Air Conditioning Technician the role will involve a broad range of activities, from hands-on technical work to complex engineering tasks, supporting the safe and efficient operation of the facility.

DUTIES
Your duties as a HVAC Engineer / Heating / Ventilation / Air Conditioning Technician will include:
System Design and Engineering
* Develop and review HVAC system designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications
* Perform engineering calculations and simulations to optimize system performance
Installation and Commissioning
* Oversee or participate in the installation of HVAC systems, ensuring all components are correctly assembled and integrated
* Conduct commissioning tests to verify system functionality and performance
Maintenance and Troubleshooting
* Perform regular maintenance on HVAC systems, including preventative and corrective tasks to ensure reliability and efficiency
* Diagnose and resolve technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions
Project Management
* Plan and manage HVAC-related projects, from conception through to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget
* Coordinate with other disciplines to integrate HVAC systems into the overall plant infrastructure
Compliance and Quality Assurance
* Ensure all HVAC work complies with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies
* Conduct quality assurance checks and audits to maintain high standards of workmanship
Documentation and Reporting
* Prepare detailed reports on system performance, maintenance activities, and project progress
* Maintain accurate records of designs, modifications, and repairs for future reference
Collaboration and Communication
* Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and site personnel to ensure seamless operation of HVAC systems
* Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders as needed
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
* Ideally have NEBOSH Qualifications
* Ideally have IOSH Managing Safely
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
