* Hours: Up to 32 hours per week over 4 days. It is operated on a flexible basis and would suit a job-share as weekend working is required. A flexible approach towards working hours is essential as some events can take place outside of normal working hours.

About the role:
As a Visitor Centre Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring that every visitor leaves with a smile and a deeper understanding of our mission to improve the horse-human relationship. Your collaborative spirit and customer service skills will shine as you welcome guests, coordinate events, and lead engaging tours of our working farm.
Main duties and responsibilities:
* Meet and greet visitors with a warm smile, providing them with an informative and enjoyable experience.
* Handle general enquiries about booking the visitor centre’s facilities, ensuring a seamless coordination of events and facilities.
* Lead captivating tours around the working farm, showcasing our efforts in equine welfare, while involving volunteers for a richer visitor experience.
* Collaborate with our café to ensure everything is set up and operating smoothly, assisting with day-end procedures including cashing up and cleaning down.
* Work alongside the Senior Centre Promotions Officer and Centre Manager to plan a range of exciting events aimed at raising the profile of World Horse Welfare and generating essential income.
* Keep promotional materials current and ensure all merchandise is presented professionally while encouraging visitors to support our charity through membership sign-ups.
* Ensure banking is conducted weekly, comply with cash handling policies, and submit invoices for approval promptly.
* Assist in recruiting, inducting, and training volunteers, while reporting any issues for swift resolution.
This Visitor Centre Coordinator role may require occasional evening, weekend, and Bank Holiday work.
