Are you a passionate and experienced SENDCo looking for a new opportunity in a specialist setting? We are recruiting on behalf of a special school in Slough that supports children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH).
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified SENDCo to join this well-established and highly regarded special school. This role requires a proactive and compassionate leader who can coordinate SEND provision effectively, ensuring that all pupils receive the tailored support they need to thrive academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the SEND provision across the school.
Support pupils with EHCPs, ensuring their needs are met through effective intervention strategies.
Work closely with teachers, support staff, parents, and external agencies to create a nurturing and structured learning environment.
Provide guidance and training to staff to enhance SEND provision across the curriculum.
Oversee Alternative Provision (AP) placements and support reintegration programmes where necessary.
