Job Title: Service Technician
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with a 1 hour lunch break

About the Role:
Performs diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or company owned equipment based upon current certified training. The role has no direct reports and reports directly to Service Manager. This is a full-time role based on a basic 40-hour week from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday with a requirement to work outside normal business hours as needed. Overtime compensation will be provided in accordance with company policy.
Responsibilities:
On a day-to-day basis you will (this list is not exhaustive):
* Perform diagnostics and repairs on agricultural or plant equipment in a workshop and/or field environment.
* Complete all reports and administration required in a timely manner and to a high quality (job cards, time sheets).
* Follow all safety rules and regulations.
* Complete all training programmes to further develop skills and knowledge in a timely manner.
* Maintain a clean work environment, assist with overall workshop organisation, ensure correct use of tools and vehicles at all times.
* Mentor apprentices.
Candidate Requirements:
* Experience performing service repairs.
* Ability to perform repairs and maintenance using correct tools and equipment, following approved techniques.
* Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
* Ability to use standard computer applications, internet and manufacturers service portals.
* Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
* Good customer service skills.
* Familiar with manufacturers products (JCB, New Holland).
* Ability to work well in a team environment.
* Minimum LTA certification or appropriate comparable as required by the role.
* Full, clean driving licence essential for field roles.
* Ability to work extended hours and weekends.
