SEN KS4 Teacher
Location: Berkeley, Gloucestershire
Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 pro rata (M1 - UPS3) Plus £3,000 Welcome Bonus*
Hours: Part time - hours to be discussed at interview

Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity to work with a large SEN Secondary School based in Berkeley. The school is for 11-16 year olds with SEMH needs. The school is looking for an experienced and passionate KS4 Teacher to join their team.
As the SEN Teacher, you will:
1. Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to children and young people with SEMH and other complex or anxiety-related needs who may present with challenging behaviours.
2. Contribute to the delivery and development of the curriculum, considering the educational, physical, and social needs of the students.
3. Monitor, assess, review and report on the progress and work of students to parents and team members.
4. Maintain knowledge through training and research where appropriate and take responsibility for own professional development.
5. Develop lesson plans, analysing and self-reflecting on the outcomes.
6. Contribute to the review of Statements and EHC plans, PEP, and LAC reviews.
Essential Qualifications:
1. PGCE, Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent teaching qualification and evidence of in-service training.
2. Experience of working in a special school environment, particularly with pupils with SEMH.
Desirable Qualifications:
1. Postgraduate diploma in SEN.
2. Experience of successfully delivering a differentiated curriculum to pupils with a wide range of needs.
