The White Goods Engineer job where you will undertake service maintenance and repair to white goods at customer premises at allocated postcodes in Bath, Bridgwater & Taunton areas. Specifically, this includes warranty checks, fault-finding, troubleshooting, repair and modification to washing machines, tumble dryers, fridges, freezers and cookers according to your qualifications/strengths. Ongoing training is provided and you will be cross-trained to an expert level in additional manufacturers and product types! All the tools of the trade including a new company van (with AC) & fuel card, are provided. The role also requires scheduling, customer care, health and safety (H&S) compliance, and some paperwork/PDA.
You will have
To be successful as a White Goods Engineer, you will have appliance service/repair experience including white goods plus a healthy mix of the following:
1. Manufacturer training/certification an advantage
2. Multi-brand experience preferred e.g. Whirlpool/Samsung/Beko
3. Good track record in maintenance/installation servicing or repairs
4. F/Gas or Gas Safe registration an advantage
5. Strong customer service skills
6. Health and safety awareness
7. Basic computer literacy for PDA
8. Full driving license, and reasonable flexibility for travel/hours
You will get
As a White Goods Engineer/Appliance Engineer, you will enjoy a competitive salary of £30K-£32K (including 1 Saturday per month) depending on qualifications/experience.
