You must be able to work well under pressure and have a willingness to learn and develop your own skills. The successful candidate will be expected to provide the highest standard of evidence-based, patient-centered care. Our busy Children's Emergency Departments cover two sites - Queens Hospital in Romford and King George's Hospital in Goodmayes. We deliver a comprehensive range of general Paediatric and Surgical Services to our local communities. These are amongst the busiest Children's EDs in the country and we are always looking to build our team to provide the best service possible.
Main duties of the job
The role of the staff nurse is to provide hands-on clinical care to Children and Young People who attend our department. They will advocate for their patient, assess, plan and implement care, ensuring a holistic approach whilst working alongside the Multi-Disciplinary Team to provide excellent care to Children and Young People.
