As Local Marketing Manager, you’ll ensure that as a brand in this climate, we are maximising every opportunity to create compelling reasons to choose a Boots store, to improve the customer experience and communicate to our customers within the communities that they live in a way most relevant to them. Key responsibilities: • Local Marketing Strategy Creation and Delivery: Develop, execute, and measure local marketing campaigns to drive footfall, increase sales, and boost brand presence in specific locations. Work in conjunction with Head of Go To Market on ensuring that this aligns to the overall commercial and business direction. • Marketing activity delivery: Both lead and delivering paid / owned media assets across a range of local channels as well as the geotargeting of more wide-reaching channels (inc; OOH, Print, Audio, Social, Loyalty, Digital, Eventing) • Customer Insights & Analysis: Use local data, market trends, and competitor / customer insights to identify opportunities for localised marketing initiatives and adjust strategies accordingly. • Collaboration with Store Teams: Work closely with store managers and staff to align local campaigns with in-store promotions, events, and community activities. • Event Execution: Where additional value can be added, co-ordinating local events, activations, and sponsorships to engage with the community and promote Boots products and services. • Budget Management: Oversee all local marketing spend, ensuring cost-effective activity that delivers a strong ROI comparable to other Boots marketing activity. • Reporting & Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyse the performance of your local activity and impact on stores, providing insights, evidence and recommendations to be built into future execution. • Brand Consistency: Ensure all local marketing materials and activity align with the overall Boots brand guidelines and values. • Collaborating closely with BMG to ensure that via suppliers and their funding we are activating more local and compelling reasons for customers to visit our stores What you’ll need to have: • Strong experience and knowledge of digital and social media, as well as data driven marketing campaigns • Experienced at leading and delivering above the line campaigns across a wide variety of channels including TV, Print, Outdoor and Radio • Experienced at developing and implementing marketing campaigns which drive brand growth • Experienced at developing marketing creative and ideas which motivate customers to take action • A people focussed leader who motivates others and knows how to get the best out of a wide variety of stakeholders • A driven individual who demonstrates high levels of accountability Our benefits Boots Retirement Savings Plan Discretionary annual bonus Generous employee discounts Enhanced maternity/paternity/adoption leave pay and gift card for anyone expecting or adopting a child Flexible benefits scheme including option to buy additional holiday, discounted gym membership, life assurance, activity passes and much more.
