In this role you will provide direct civilian support to military operations, through the administrative and logistical management of civilian pre-deployment training.
You will be the main point of contact for all Civil Service personnel that come to the Mission Ready Training Centre to train. You will liaise with them prior to their arrival, organise medicals through our contractor, load them to training and support and escort them whilst here at Bassingbourn Barracks. You will also receive their feedback post training and propose changes to training as identified.

Main responsibilities will include:
Point of contact for all Civil Service personnel booked to attend Pre-Deployment Training (PDT) and the key liaison between the Permanent Joint Headquarters (PJHQ) and MRTC
Arrangement of medical assessments for Civil Servants attending Pre-Deployment Training, including requesting medical information from GPs and other medical agencies within the MOD and Other Government Departments (OGD)
Compile post medical reports for PJHQ
Act as the 'referring manager' for all civilians who need a CODA medical through Optima
Maintenance and distribution of individual course joining instructions
Loading to training of individuals who require 12 month updates to extend their PDT currency to 2 years
Arrange deployment equipment issues and returns for PJHQ Civil Servant personnel / visitors. Responsible for managing the return of equipment and in cases of non-return, conducting investigations where necessary
Attend PDT reception / validation meetings, plus other briefs / presentations as required
Act as the Secretary to PJHQ / MRTC training meetings
Collate feedback from Civil Servant attendees on the training delivered, to ensure adequate and appropriate training is being provided. As required, propose any training amendments through MRTC and PJHQ
Ensure the timely passage of the correct information between PJHQ and MRTC, including any relevant sub departments
Compile post PDT reports for PJHQ
Closely liaison with DBS for attendee information
Act as the liaison point for visitors and observers attending PDT, accompanying them as required
Develop electronic processes to streamline and generate efficiency for both MRTC deliverers and CS attendees. The aim is to ensure greater simplicity when forecasting, and flexibility for applicants to attend PDT in a timely manner prior to deployment
