Purpose of Role
Are you a highly organised and detail-oriented professional with a passion for coordinating bids and proposals? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Construction Bid Coordinator.
Job Description
As a Bid Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing and supporting the bid process from start to finish. Working closely with our Preconstruction & Business Development teams, you will ensure the timely and high-quality submission of bids for refurbishment and construction projects. The successful candidate will have good coordination skills from a previous administrative focused role – they will be happy working predominately in the office and have an interest in career development.
Responsibilities
1. Coordinate and manage the bid process, ensuring deadlines are met and submissions are compliant.
2. Work collaboratively with internal teams, including Estimating, Design, and Commercial, to gather necessary information.
3. Prepare, format, and proofread bid documents to ensure accuracy and consistency.
4. Manage bid trackers, submission schedules, and other key documentation.
5. Research client requirements and tailor responses to align with their needs.
6. Maintain a library of standard content, case studies, and company information for future submissions.
Essential Qualifications/Skills
1. Previous experience in an administrative or coordination role.
2. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
5. Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
