Scout is now recruiting for an Assistant Repairs and Maintenance Engineer on behalf of our client, located on the outskirts of Stamford. You will work as part of a team and be responsible for assisting to maintain and repair vehicles. Some experience in panel beating and welding would be an advantage.
The job is challenging and interesting, with a lot of variation. The ideal candidate should have a positive ‘can do’ attitude, underpinned by an active ‘roll the sleeves up’ style. This is a junior role so if you have just finished an apprenticeship or at the early stages of your working career, then this could be ideal for you.
This is a full-time 39-hour Monday – Friday permanent role. The salary is £23,200 increasing in April 2025. The company offer 23 days holiday per annum plus BH, profit share bonus after 12 months of continual service. Auto enrolment pension based on whole salary is also included.
You must have your own hand tools. Forklift licence an advantage (training if required) and a full clean drivers licence.
