Your responsibilities will span a broad spectrum, encompassing the orchestration and supervision of day-to-day operations, devising strategies and policies to elevate customer service, drive foot traffic, and enhance sales and profitability. Maintaining impeccable store standards and fostering a positive team environment will be paramount.
This role demands hands-on, shop floor-centered management, necessitating a fondness for a fast-paced work environment.
Your duties as Store Manager will entail:
* Adhering to Søstrene Grene Company standards, strategies, and initiatives.
* Attaining and amplifying sales targets, cost minimization, and staff budget management.
* Steering your team with adept organisational and managerial prowess.
* Exemplifying exceptional customer service standards, ensuring visible and effective management of customer service.
* Recruiting, training, and steering all members of the store team to ensure peak performance and productivity.
* Crafting staff schedules and delegating tasks utilizing SameSystem.
* Projecting staffing requirements and formulating a recruitment strategy to ensure optimal staffing during peak periods.
* Crafting and scrutinising management reports to plan tasks, evaluate performance, and drive sales.
* Making decisive decisions with confidence and taking accountability for all store decisions.
* Cultivating a positive and proactive work atmosphere by leading with a 'can-do' attitude.
* Fostering a culture of teamwork and positive attitude toward colleagues and tasks.
* Ensuring comprehensive staff training in all facets of retail work, encompassing till operation, customer service, product knowledge, merchandising, and stock replenishment.
* Collaborating closely with the Store Visual Merchandiser to uphold the Søstrene Grene brand through stellar visual merchandising standards.
* Upholding a safe working environment through adherence to staff and customer safety procedures.
* Establishing and enforcing stockroom processing and replenishment procedures, ensuring efficient handling of recalls and transfers.
* Regularly patrolling the shop floor, engaging with customers and team members to identify and resolve service issues.
* Championing innovative approaches to enhance efficiencies and streamline operations.
* Demonstrating flexibility in alignment with business needs, including potential travel to other UK stores to support management tasks or cover managerial absences.
* Fulfilling keyholder responsibilities, including store opening and closing in accordance with Company guidelines, intruder alarm setting, and secure management of store keys. Promptly addressing any security breaches or key losses.
* Processing customer transactions and refunds via the shop's Point of Sale (POS) system.
* Concluding daily cash reconciliation and managing floats.
* Overseeing cash safe management and G4S lodgements.
