The Band 5 rotation involves six-monthly rotations in Older persons therapy, stroke, acute Medical & Surgical Therapy, Early supported discharge team, and orthopaedics. It also includes the regional specialist centres for Burns and Plastics and the Spinal unit.
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to provide Occupational therapy assessment, treatment planning, intervention, and discharge planning to acute inpatients. They will need to provide Occupational therapy assessment, treatment planning, intervention, and discharge planning to acute inpatients.
The successful candidate will apply the Occupational therapy Process through functional assessments and analysis to promote independence (through adaptation of occupation and/or equipment, support) to facilitate safe discharges from hospital.
