Anderson Knight are recruiting for a well-known company in North Lanarkshire who are looking to add an experienced Payroll Assistant to their team. The role offers hybrid working and a salary of £28-33,000 based on experience.
* You will be responsible for accurately processing payroll for a set group of clients monthly, ensuring that all payments are made on time and in compliance with relevant regulations.
* While you will have the autonomy to manage your client portfolio, you’ll also work closely with the Senior Payroll Manager to ensure that payroll processes run smoothly, and any issues are swiftly addressed.
* You will handle all administrative tasks associated with employee onboarding and offboarding, ensuring that all details are captured, and payroll records are updated accordingly.
* Accuracy is key in this role. You will be responsible for ensuring all employee payroll records are updated and maintained in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
* This includes calculating and tracking holiday entitlements for both salaried and hourly paid employees, ensuring accurate holiday accruals are maintained.
* You will be responsible for processing monthly payroll for multiple employees per client, requiring a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage a high volume of data without compromising on accuracy.
