Are you interested to work as a Specialty Dentist in Paediatric Dentistry in Bristol Dental Hospital?
There are 8 clinical sessions (equivalent 32 hours/week) available within the department of Special Care Dentistry at the Bristol Dental Hospital. The post-holder will be expected to provide clinical leadership, dental advice and treatment under the umbrella of Special Care Dentistry.
Main duties of the job
Clinical sessions will involve comprehensive dental care of patients requiring Paediatric Dentistry, routine exodontia lists under general anaesthetic for children under 16 years of age, GA pre-assessment clinics on the outpatient department and treatment clinics on the outpatient department.
The post-holder will support the Paediatric Dentistry team, community specialists and trainees within the department. This post holder will provide potential clinical cover for the routine extraction GA lists at BDH as and when needed, due to leave of existing staff
