At BPAS, we're looking for an experienced administrator to join our fast-paced and dedicated team in our Telemedical hub in Richmond. As an Admin Assistant, you will be responsible for completing all administrative and client support tasks within the hub, supporting clients through their episode of care.
This role is part-time, 30 hours per week on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. The set shift pattern is detailed below. It is based at our hub in Richmond and is not a home working position.
Key Responsibilities:
* Answer and direct telephone queries, liaising with both internal and external colleagues as necessary, and welcome clients and escorts to the hub directing them as required.
* Accurately check or complete all necessary BPAS and legal paperwork, ensuring relevant documentation is available for the client's episode of care.
* Provide all information to clients in a supportive and reassuring manner, to ensure informed choices are made at all stages of their care.
* Monitor, edit and amend appointment list using the booking system, informing clients if changes to their appointment become necessary.
* Provide admin support for safeguarding in the hub.
Main Duties of the Job
You will have proven experience of working within an office environment, where you've carried out administration duties. You'll be an excellent communicator both internally and externally and will demonstrate a friendly and positive attitude when interacting with clients, colleagues, and external parties.
We are also looking for:
* Experience of dealing with patients within a care environment.
* Knowledge of clerical procedures including checking documentation, telephone, and reception duties.
* Good attention to detail, supportive towards colleagues and clients, and an effective team player.

Salary: £26,595 to £30,546 pro-rata, per annum, depending on experience.

Qualifications
* English and Maths qualification either GCSE A to C or Functional Skills Level 2 or GCSE 4* or NVQ level 2.
Experience
* Experience of dealing face-to-face with the public together with general office duties.
* Competent in Microsoft Office programmes including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.
* Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
* Experience of dealing face-to-face and via telephone with patients who may be angry or upset, within a care environment.
Skills
* Experience in telephone and reception procedures.
* Understand clerical procedures including the checking of documentation.
