One of our leading CDMO clients is currently looking for a BD Director to drive growth for their biotech services after recently changing their strategy to fully integrate their contract research, development and manufacturing services.
The BD Director will bring in new business for Biotech accounts while representing all of the companys offerings largely within the advanced therapies field.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute comprehensive BD strategies to drive sales growth in the Biotech market segment.
* Drive overall execution of sales goals, including identifying and winning business with new customers and providing an elite customer experience by working cross-functionally with business unit leaders, subject matter experts, and strategic relationship managers.
* Deliver tailored, competitive solutions to customer’s distinct requirements.
* Stay ahead of customer needs through understanding of their company’s imperatives, including key operating cycles, budget cycle, strategic sourcing criteria, and business or technical processes.
* Lead and manage sophisticated deal structuring and negotiation processes.
* Coordinate and represent the business in senior-level executive and customer meetings.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 8 years of industry experience in the CDMO industry.
* Minimum 7 years in sales/BD for the CDMO industry.
* Good understanding of biopharmaceutical services.
* Demonstrated success in cross-selling and handling complex deal structures.
* Strong communication and influencing skills.
* Proven track record of successfully competing in a highly competitive sales environment.
* Demonstrated experience leading within a large organization.
