Job Description
What are we looking for?
AMCL is looking for a highly driven and ambitious individual to join our growing Digital Advisory team, serving global infrastructure. Working with AMCL you will apply a hands-on approach to helping our clients define information and technology needs, exploit what they have, and provide direction and guidance to deliver the next generation of information and technology solutions for infrastructure asset management organisations and major programmes.
The Role
As a Senior Consultant within the AMCL UK&I team, you will be responsible for:
* Client delivery: Responsible for helping to create insights and tell stories with data, you will be connecting and interrogating data sources that will provide clients with the information they require to make optimal decisions.
* Expanding our capabilities: Identifying and securing business opportunities in new and existing markets; driving thought leadership and representing AMCL at conferences across the globe.
* Developing our people: Coaching and mentoring of team members.

Qualifications
Experience and Technical Knowledge
* 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, defence, or consulting roles.
* Demonstrable passion for data and technology in delivering social, environmental and economic outcomes.
* Experience in delivering technology and data solutions client side and/or as part of a management consultancy, systems integrator, or solution vendor.
* Knowledge or awareness of data specification approaches for infrastructure organisations, e.g. information standards (Uniclass, RDS-PP etc.) / information management.
* Awareness of data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence solutions, e.g. PowerBI.
Education and Certifications
* Strong academic background in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities
* Strong analytical skills and a track record of delivering high-quality outputs for clients.
* Experience with complex problem-solving in consulting or asset-intensive organisations.
Advantageous Skills and Experience
* Knowledge and awareness of business and data analysis methodologies such as BPMN 2.0, UML, and process mapping.
* Knowledge of technology marketplace and specific Enterprise IT applications across infrastructure design, delivery and operations, such as EAM, ERP, GIS, CRM, and BIM.
* Knowledge of data query and database management tools such as Access, SQL, or MongoDB to structure and relate data.
* Knowledge of statistical programming languages such as R or Python to manage and analyse large datasets.
