Sales Manager required. A long-standing client of mine is now looking for a proactive Sales Manager in the South West to undertake a mix of both developing new business and managing their existing accounts in the region. The ideal candidate will come from a proven sales background and ideally have weighing solution experience as well as being a holder of a full Driving licence and the preparation to travel up to 4 days a week.
Responsibilities:
* Undertaking an approximate split of 70/30 New Business vs Account Management
* Travelling to customers throughout the region to win new business
* Taking an active role in managing and developing existing accounts
* Reporting directly to the Sales Director based in Chesterfield
* Attending quarterly sales meetings at the company's head office
* You will manage your own diary with a rough expectation of 3-4 days out visiting customers and 1 day from home
Qualifications:
* Proven record in the sales environment
* Strong previous experience managing and developing existing accounts
* Strong previous experience developing new business and onboarding new clients
* Any previous experience in the weighing sector would be highly beneficial
* Prepared to travel throughout South West England and South Wales
* Full driving licence
* Based in the South West of England with strong travel links (Gloucester, Bristol, Bath, Swindon, Southampton etc.)
Compensation:
* Salary £34,000 - £36,000 per annum DOE
* OTE in excess of £60,000 per annum
* Full time Monday to Friday
* 33 Days holiday inclusive of public holidays
