The Post:
This post offers a unique and exciting opportunity to gain knowledge and develop skills with a broad range of patients and gain new skills in assisting in the rehabilitation of patients. The successful candidate will work with a multi-professional team to ensure a high standard of care and support is given to a defined patient group within Inpatients 2.
The Candidate:
It is expected that the candidate will have previous health and social care experience. It is also expected that the successful candidate will possess a SVQ3 qualification as well as the ability to demonstrate a range of core skills to competently undertake patient care and other tasks and activities.
Location, Working Pattern and Contract Duration:
This post will be based at The Balfour.
The successful candidate will work:
1. 1x Full Time 37 hours per week Permanent
2. 1x Part Time 19 hours per week Fixed Term for 12 months due to funding arrangements

The salary for this post is on a Band 3 £26,869 - £28,998 and if residing on Orkney, you’ll also receive a Distant Islands Allowance of £1,587 pro rata per year, adding extra value to your rewarding career with us.
