We're looking for someone to join our friendly in-house team of payroll professionals and play a vital part in ensuring the smooth running of our UK payroll. You will be a driven self-starter, who likes to use their initiative, thinks independently and can be self-reliant. Your methodical approach, open-mindedness, and eagerness to learn will be instrumental in your success.
The UK payroll is managed in-house using third party provider software and you will work closely with the wider HR team to achieve legal compliance and process efficiency in your day-to-day work.
We believe in fostering a positive and inclusive work culture, and we are looking for someone with a can-do attitude and the confidence to express their own ideas. Your strong analytical skills and ability to quickly learn and adapt to new processes and concepts will be highly valued in this role.
In addition to supporting the running of the UK payroll, you will also be involved with payrolls for some of Schroders' overseas territories; providing timely, accurate monthly instructions to third-party providers with overall responsibility for the monthly cycle, including funding and payment to employees.
