Job summary University Hospitals are currently in the process of relocating elective colorectal and lower GI cancer surgery and stoma reversal surgery from Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton to the Worthing site, creating a centre of excellence for colorectal cancer surgery which will be delivered across Worthing and St Richards Hospitals. This is an exciting development where we'll be investing in new Theatre and bed capacity along with surgeon, anaesthetic, nursing, therapies and other workforce requirements to meet the additional demand at the Worthing site. The successful applicants will have the opportunity to hone and expand their clinical skills in addition to developing services within University Hospitals Sussex and our partner organisations. The posts are based at Worthing but travel and support at the Brighton sites will be incorporated within the job plan to an intended maximum of 2 sessions per week (negotiable).
