We are always looking for exceptional individuals to join our multinational group of talented professionals and right now we are seeking to recruit a motivated and talented Junior Electronics Technician!
In this role, you will ensure the quality and functionality of printed circuit boards (PCBs) by performing a range of tests and inspections. The role involves operating automated test equipment, conducting low-level fault-finding, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Perform automated and dedicated testing of PCB assemblies following test procedures and specifications.
2. Use Computer Aided Repair systems to log faults accurately.
3. Conduct low-level fault finding and rework both through-hole and surface-mount fine-pitch components.
4. Understand and apply component identification codes such as resistors, capacitors, and ICs.
5. Use multimeters and other testing equipment as required for PCB testing.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
1. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
2. Previous soldering/rework experience is desirable.
3. Ability to use a PC and record/enter data accurately.
4. Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
5. Good manual dexterity for handling small components.
