The role We have an opportunity to recruit a Project Manager to join our Repairs & Maintenance Team working within the Planned Maintenance Team. This is a 12 months fixed term contract with the option to extend. The post holder will be responsible for providing leadership, direction, and motivation for a multi-disciplinary major works delivery and project team comprising professional designers, project staff, engineers, customer-facing staff, consultants, and suppliers to facilitate high levels of service delivery. Your Role: ?? Develop and implement well-designed, cost-effective investment programmes.?? Lead on resident consultation, ensuring excellent customer engagement.?? Manage contractor performance and quality control to maintain high standards.?? Ensure projects comply with Building Safety Act, Fire Safety Act, and Duty of Care regulations.?? Work closely with senior stakeholders and contribute to borough-wide housing initiatives. What We’re Looking For: ? Extensive experience managing large fire safety remedial projects.? Proven track record in high-rise refurbishment (7 storeys or 18m).? Strong knowledge of housing legislation, finance, and budgetary control .? Leadership experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams and contractors.? Degree in a construction-related discipline (MRICS, MCIOB preferred). This role requires flexibility to attend site visits, evening meetings, and emergency call-outs when necessary.
