Base Salary: Grade 5 £30,164 – £34,061 per annum
Pension: Career average pension scheme with 17.5% employer contribution

Being an Immediate Emergency Care Trainer/Coach.
You will be instrumental in developing firefighter skills and knowledge in Immediate Emergency Care of our customers at operational incidents. Working with a variety of colleagues across the organisation no two days will be same. You will deliver initial training to new starters and develop Firefighters through their careers with annual refresher training. Working at locations throughout the Service means you will train colleagues with a wide variety of experiences and specialist skills.

What you’ll do
* Deliver Immediate Emergency Care and patient moving and handling training to operational colleagues.
* Assist with patient care elements in other operational training courses.
* Support colleagues in their own personal station-based learning.
* Deliver first aid training to non-operational colleagues.
* Assist colleagues with Customer engagement activities.
* Use your unique training delivery methods to engage, inspire and mentor your students.
What you’ll bring
* A broad experience of, and passion for, pre-hospital trauma care.
* Experience of delivering pre-hospital care training, with a training/assessing qualification.
* An Ambulance Technician, Associate Ambulance Practitioner, CMT1, FREC Level 4 qualification or equivalent.
* Knowledge of innovative training delivery and assessment methods.
* Effective interpersonal skills.
