* This is a hybrid working role, therefore your time will primarily be split between working from home and the Head Office. The role can be based at either our Bracknell or London Head Office depending on your preference. If based in London, the normal place of work for this role is Victoria, London pending the relocation of the London office to Pimlico during the summer of 2024, after which the normal place of work will become Pimlico, London.
* The salary range for this role is set at £52,800 - £84,300.
* This is a permanent position.
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Technical Services team as an Operations Manager, Energy & Innovation. You will have an integral part in supporting and advancing the Partnerships energy reduction targets across all Lines of Business. Your mission? To enhance efficiency, reduce consumption, and promote sustainable practices.
You will be accountable for guiding our strategic insights and spearheading the creation of processes, policies, and plans to advance our energy initiatives. Your expertise is key to effectively engaging with senior stakeholders, impacting strategic choices and managing our supply chain to ensure a seamless and efficient operation. You will oversee all components of our energy reduction initiatives, leading the energy response team and guide the team on delivering year on year savings whilst making a real impact on our sustainability goals.
You will play a crucial role in our Energy & Innovations strategy by:
Strategic Insight:
* Delivering management information that empowers decision-making and promotes our energy reduction initiatives.
* Seeking out innovative solutions to propel our ongoing efficiency journey.
Process and Policy Leadership:
* Define, shape, and embed robust processes, policies, and plans for energy consumption reduction.
* Ensure alignment with the energy procurement budget, prorated for consumption.
Stakeholder Engagement:
* Collaborate with Lines of Business stakeholders at all levels.
* Ensure targets are well understood, applicable, and actionable.
Influence and Impact:
* Drive Retail and Line of Business activities to achieve reduction targets.
* Link Partner behaviour and building performance to measurable innovations.
Supply Chain Management:
* Lead relationships with energy data, metering, and reporting platforms.
* Optimise supply chain processes for maximum efficiency.
Essential skills you’ll need
* Financial and analytical expertise - ability to analyse, identify trends and provide actionable insights
* Communication skills - ability to communicate complex data to senior stakeholders
* Stakeholder management - experience in building relationships with diverse stakeholders, both internal and external.
