You will be part of a team dedicated to Retail Operations, working on Maintenance, furniture development, production and installation projects. You will be working on behalf of a global electronics brand with clients, suppliers and internal contacts to deliver services to our customers professionally, to specification and on time. The Account Manager will be responsible for delivering exceptional client service through excellent customer service, strong commercial awareness and organization. The Account Manager will develop and maintain a strong relationship with key client stakeholders at all levels. This role will require flexible working between their Manchester office, supplier offices in Macclesfield & travel to London or Chertsey on occasion. Reporting into the Account Director, you will work closely with field teams and production vendors to deliver the highest possible execution of client briefs, while expertly managing the expectations of multiple stakeholders across a variety of projects, using your experience and knowledge to ask the right questions to ensure synergy across all touch points. Ideally you will have a good understanding of retail furniture production, fixture installation, retail maintenance experience and working in a client facing role. Key Responsibilities Brief suppliers on client requirements Monitor a variety of projects to ensure they are delivered to specification and on time Working collaboratively to ensure the correct vendors and partners are used for each project, considering location, complexity, budget & deadline Work as a team to help deliver contractual requirements, prepare presentations and complete necessary account admin and reporting Updating and managing critical paths and WIP documents Ensure monthly forecast is kept up to date &invoicing procedures are followed Agree and manage budgets and P&L’s Able to attend meetings as required Work with Account Director to identify new business opportunities Deliver services to meet and exceed contracted SLA’s& KPI’s Manage and monitor objectives to meet key business drivers Knowledge, Skills Experience Confident management of off-site teams Numerate with a strong commercial understanding Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise workload Strong time management and prioritisation skills Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, with a good sense of humour Has a high level of production and installation knowledge Is professional, courteous and calm under pressure Has a project management mind-set Approachable and confident to offer advice in meetings Able to manage and communicate with key client stakeholders to successfully deliver and exceed their expectations Knowledge of Microsoft office is essential Experience in trouble shooting unexpected project issues and implementing preventative measures Experience in a client facing role is essential Experience of end-to-end campaign and stock management Account management experience, working within a contracted environment to strict SLAs (service level agreements) and KPIs (key performance indicators) Previous experience working on Retail projects or within a Retail environment is essential
